Strawberry fields forever

This morning I went strawberry picking with my mum, a niece and her son - $5 a kilo for freshly picked strawberries. And, even at 9am, it was getting hot!

It must be summer! How suddenly!

And yet, still not quite warm enough at night to change to cotton sheets (but nearly!)

    I haven't been berry picking for AGES!

    And yay for nearly cotton sheet weather (or the equivalent in my case :) )

    and we made some of our strawberries into home made ice-cream and jelly (by we i mean grandm and Kaydin)
