More on cat training

Following on from yesterday's video...

The Moll-ster has me so well trained that I have the ranchslider open - so she can go onto the balcony whenever she wishes.

As my chair is beside the ranchslider - this isn't that comfortable in winter. So, I have the heater on and placed between me and the open ranchslider - with curtains over the ranchslider to try and block out some of the draft.

This, of course, means that I sometimes have to get up and move the curtain aside to PROVE the door is open.

Oh, and I have to leave a blanket over my footstool, so she can sit on the stool. She won't if there is no blanket...

The joys...

For cat owners

Ain't this the truth?

The Moll-ster has trained me well - although I try to break conditioning sometimes. And I regret it later.

Ranty McRanty part something

Shame on you...
So - a quick search will show that Newstalkzb has a news item about this. And lots of the newspapers on Stuff. So does TV3. There's even a link on the NY Daily News.
But, no matter how I search... I can't find anything on the NZHerald or TVNZ sites.
Maybe I just imagined that piece on the news last night...

Anyway - here's the official site for the complete list of winners and other stuff. And a post for work I wrote about the ceremony.

Enough said

I'm so tired, yesterday morning I nearly crossed the road, honestly thinking it was the pedestrians' turn, when actually, the traffic lights had turned green - not the little walking man...

Is it over yet?

Each week just seems to get longer... so - hardly any posts or facebooking... just work and sleep.

Also - scary enough - hardly any reading! This carpooling business - fab that is it!, and spending time with sister and b-in-law is great - cuts into my reading time (unlike a bus trip, it's quite rude reading while carpooling, and there aren't any lights inside the car).

When I get home - I'm knitting. Got birthdays coming up - so doing the present thing. Little Frog is turning 1 and, as a grand-aunt, I feel it is my duty to knit him something, in green, to acknowledge and celebrate his first year on earth as part of our family.

As to facebook - it is so slow, I don't have the time - or patience - to spend it waiting for things to load.

But - here you go - a picture for you. In honour of my dad - a Sharpie fan - and the whole Star Trek thing...
