The Moll-ster & gardens & other updates

The cat thermometer has spoken - it must be winter. The Moll-ster has just started sleeping on my bed, her winter spot. No idea where she sleeps the rest of the year.

Just think, only days ago she was doing her impression of a plant - albeit, one ready for picking...

Speaking of plants - the last of my, admittedly small, tomatoes are being eaten. They taste very yummy! The biggest was 165 grams! Here is one, cut up and served on bread, made by myself - so domestic (if only that extended to being house-'trained' and actually doing housework)...

Oh well, maybe in my next life.

And - I've seen bunnies in Western Springs the last couple of Saturdays! Yay!

The shower is all fixed! No more dealing with the way-of-the-wood method of drip control...

Simple joys. And that's what life is made up of - it's not the big things, it's all those little things that make up our every day, that make our every days worth it.

Bunnies!

Gosh - it's been nearly a year since I last blogged about bunnies in Western Springs. I am happy to report that I have seen some recently.
It is rare for me to travel past Western Springs on my way to work these days [thanks B&P for the lifts!]... but last week I bus-ed to work on Friday & Saturday and BOTH mornings I saw a bunny!
On the subject of bunnies - I'm very sorry that Hannah's baby bunnies didn't make it. Hand-rearing itty bitty newborn anythings seems to be nigh-on impossible [I include human newborns in this].

We're back playing online!

Well, my best beloved, many moons ago in blogland I began my life as a Mad Hamster in order to win free stuff from work (am currently using said free stuff to play background music in my otherwise, mercifully, quiet office) and now work has made more opportunities to win free stuff by playing on the web, and writing stuff up about it...
Note to self: be even more careful about what I rabbit on about...

Speaking of rabbits - bunnies all over the show this morning at Western Springs... bunnies, bunnies, bunnies... Maybe one fine morning (soon, because the sun is getting lazier these days!) I'll catch the 6am bus, get off at Western Springs & take bunny photos, then climb on the next bus heading to town... Maybe...

Oma rapiti!

In January I wondered where the bunnies had gone from Western Springs - today I can report a confirmed sighting! And not just a 'well, that lump could be a bunny' - but a running-full-tilt-across-the-field bunny sighting!
